Managers and supervisors have a direct impact on the mental health of your workforce. They need to be the first ones to notice when someone is struggling, and the first place that employees will go to for support. We equip your leadership and teams with knowledge, strategies, and techniques to engage teams that will appreciate psychological safety and foster an organizational culture that is supported by the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace. We will work together to optimize the existing skills of your leaders while building capacity, and to increase their proficiency to mitigate human rights and employment standard violations. One’s confidence and appreciation for psychological safety within the workplace changes the organizational culture and reduces negativity and productivity loss.
Leaders need to be the first line responders to employees that require support for mental health and addiction concerns. Through Return to Work, performance meetings, and regular meetings, leaders have a direct impact on recognizing, responding and proactively supporting each employee on their team. If we do not equip our leaders with the resources and tools to address these needs, we risk losing them due to stress in the role and lack of knowledge and clarity.
With years of experience educating managers and leaders across multiple industry sectors, we can provide high-impact skill development sessions that will give them the tools and concrete strategies they need to use with their teams. An organization’s success is dependent upon its people and with all change comes the need to support individual leaders. Through the utilization of my experience and expertise, my coaching is focused on addressing the individualized learning needs of the leader. Primary focus will be on their familiarity with the steps required to feel confident managing mental health issues within their teams.
Leaders now are required to be flexible, forward-thinking, and introspective while simultaneously maximizing the performance of their team. The goal of mentorship and coaching is to outline a set of practical opportunities that improve the performance of your team without compromising quality, safety, or wellbeing.
By investing in your leadership team and building a psychologically safe organizational culture, you protect the health of your talent and foster a sense of belonging and trust within the team.
